About PMIA...
The Philipse Manor Improvement Association is a non-profit organization run by a group of volunteer directors elected by manor residents. The PMIA monitors and addresses matters that affect or concern our residents. Incorporated in 1926, our primary object is “…to promote, preserve and protect the property interests and community welfare of the land-owners and residents of Philipse Manor.” The PMIA owns the property between the rail-road and the river from the Palmer Ave. bridge to 150 feet past Hunter Ave., including all of the Philipse Manor Beach Club. We work closely with the Beach Club, the Sleepy Hollow Manor Association, the village administration, the school board, MTA, NYS DOT, etc.
